@KlutzyKarma make sure you download the correct generation. 1g/2g/3g. and after you see ipod 2g/1g/3g in the ( ) download the 3.1.3 version or whatever you want

hey i have a question i wanted to restore my ipod touch 3G (it is jailbroken) (it is version 3.1.2) but i want to keep my firmware instead of restoring and updating to 3.1.3 firmware. will the exact same steps in the video work ?

its cuz i had spring locker from cydia and then i deleted spring locker, after i did that i can’t move my icons anymore this is y
(I RECOMMEND FOR ANY JAILBROKEN DEVICE DO NOT USE SPRING LOCKER, IT WILL MESS UP UR DEVICE)

All that happens when I hold in Shift and click restore is that the usual box comes up :-/

Hey, i downloaded that file from that website, i clicked Shift and Restore buttons, chosed that file in pop up,then an old man showed up in my ipod screen, saying Hello! ( in russian) , and then iTunes showed me an error saying that thee was a mistake while restoring (or smth like that .. ) , i pressed ok, but that man isnt going out of my screen, and new iTunes can’t decekt my ipod touch ;( how is that possible?! Please help me ;(
