Query by eclipseman511: Ipod Touch “cant find server”?
This question is posted on right here many times but none of the answers are assisting.
I have a secured wireless network set up at my property with a Linksys 801.22g router. On my Ipod Touch, I typed in the password to connect to the network. It linked with complete bars.
The problem is, when I open Safari it says “Safari cant open the page due to the fact it cant discover the server”
How do I fix this?
I get both the IP deal with and Subnet Mask
It could be the router, but I consider it has much more to do with the iTouch. I have 1 pc hooked directly up to the router and two wirelessly, I dont have any problems with them.

When you are connected to your WI-Fi hit the arrow button for your network. See if your router is assigning you a valid IP address. Like 192.168.two.three or something like that. I can’t connect to my network in my bedroom but I can connect in my vehicle which is more away.

I have had similar problems with my touch. I don’t know if it will help, but your router may be part of the problem. I had a lot of problems with my Linksys router when I owned one. I have since switched to a Netgear router and have had much fewer problems. Just an idea…
