This shows you how to take songs from your iPod and put them onto any computer. This is great if your computer crashes, you reformat a lot, you accidentally deleted your files, or you just didn’t back them up. This video also shows how to have iTunes organize the files automatically, so you don’t need to buy any software NOTE: THIS WILL NOT WORK WITH THE IPOD TOUCH OR IPHONE, DESPITE WHAT IS SAID IN THIS VIDEO. ANOTHER VIDEO SHOWING YOU HOW TO TAKE SONGS OFF OF THOSE IPODS IS COMING!
How come when i connect my ipod to my new laptop (Dell XPS) it pops up on my iTunes, but when i go to my computer it is not there?

arg, and vista 64 has the organize menu, but none of the others. I originally bought the ipod with the main purpose of backing up my files, and cant get to them now. I really hate Steve Jobs, i wish i had only known better. Any help for us poor vista folks?
the only downfall is the song titles & artists are all scrambled…is there anyway to transfer with actual song & artist or is this something we have to deal with?
omg! idk what happened but i cant get into my itunes. error msg. THE ITUNES LIBRARY .ITL FILE IS LOCKED, ON A LOCKED DISK, OR YOU DO NOT HAVE PERMISSION FOR THIS FILE. Please Help:(

nvmd figured it out, you have to hold down the alt key to get the extra menu items to appear.

@6dasefx when you go to get into the music folder of your ipod, find ORGANIZE to LAYOUT-MENUBAR. then you’ll see the Tools bar : )
