How to Transfer Songs from iPod To Computer FREE w/ iTunes

August 2, 2010 | In: Touch

This shows you how to take songs from your iPod and put them onto any computer. This is great if your computer crashes, you reformat a lot, you accidentally deleted your files, or you just didn’t back them up. This video also shows how to have iTunes organize the files automatically, so you don’t need to buy any software :) NOTE: THIS WILL NOT WORK WITH THE IPOD TOUCH OR IPHONE, DESPITE WHAT IS SAID IN THIS VIDEO. ANOTHER VIDEO SHOWING YOU HOW TO TAKE SONGS OFF OF THOSE IPODS IS COMING!

arg, and vista 64 has the organize menu, but none of the others. I originally bought the ipod with the main purpose of backing up my files, and cant get to them now. I really hate Steve Jobs, i wish i had only known better. Any help for us poor vista folks?

@6dasefx when you go to get into the music folder of your ipod, find ORGANIZE to LAYOUT-MENUBAR. then you’ll see the Tools bar : )

the only downfall is the song titles & artists are all scrambled…is there anyway to transfer with actual song & artist or is this something we have to deal with?
