@Opsproclan605 Hey I found the solution! Download the restore firmware not apple’s. This is important and please fwd this to 468256 I have a 16GB 2.2.1 with the same problem but i solved it
@Opsproclan605 I think the problem is because you might have used an official update, not the downloaded firmware. idk it might just be the 16GB ipod itself
@Opsproclan605 yeah I had a 16GB 2.2.1 and same thing happened. I panicked but I found a way out if things go wrong. Don’t unplug it and just close blackra1n. restore it again with apple and try again
dude i need help..i have the first genaration itouch n its jailedbreak n i need to update it so i can download uk more shit i knt download w the 2.2.1 version… but if i update it will it delete everything i have?? apps? n even the itouch been hacked?
When i try downloading the 3.1.2 it says “This download is not available from an Apple Inc. server. You will be redirected to a site where it is available or to Google”. Then sends me to some megaupload thing, im also useing firefox.. and i have latest version of itunes..
I upgraded, downloaded, and started it. It rain fine… but the guys picture never came up on my iPod. It is stuck with the screen lit up. Blackra1n says “Done, wait for reboot”… but it’s been like this for about 10 min.
Any idea on what I should do?
i have a 1st gen upgrading from 2.2.1 and in the middle of the process, the apple logo came up and a little bar below it, the sync stopped working and now im stuck on that screen and cant turn off the ipod, i cant hold the power button and home button down because the home button is broken. and my computer doesnt know wat to do with the ipod , HELP ME

Everytime I click shift-restore (on windows). The version I am updating to says is not verified by apple (error 3004) do you know the fix to this?

don’t use the apple official firmware ones use the ones from the website and possibly downgrade to 3.1.2

when you updated to the 3.1.2, how long did it take to do it? it just seems like my ipod is taking forEVER to go through the restore process
