i tried this and it went into recovery mode and then the screen went black, and when i tried it again it didnt do anything, i need to jailbreak my ipod but blackra1n isnt working for me. any suggestions?

If you were smart you probably kept your iPod/Phone jailbroken on 3.1.2. It makes no sense to me what so ever to update to 3.1.3, its mainly bug fixes… and so on. But if you have already, there is no way to jailbreak 3.1.3, i don’t think one will be released until a firmware becomes final sort of then maybe 3.2.0 maybe, i dont know.

theres a weird way where you downlaod the 3.1.3 put it on then jailbreak the ipod with redsn0w 0.9.4 and use the 3.1.2 firmware, doesnt make much sense and you dont really need 3.1.3

For those of us that doesnt know about 3.1.3 but upgrade anyways, you cant unlock or jailbreak it!!! i upgraded the 3.1.3 firmware for 3gs 32g now that phone is dead so end up buyin a new 3gs 32g

14shawn me too!! im on 3gs 3.1.2 new in dec 09 I used blackrain it was great, but was having some problems was not sure it it was black rain or craked apps cydia stuff ect sshing u know, so yea I decieded I would restore. Well I can t get itunes to accept any 3.1.2 f/w, from any site I even used torrents and so forth, because of error 1600. Ive researched this no luck. I am stuck on black screen. When i plug it in ituens pops up (if open) and says iphone in recovery mode please restore bla whatever, so I try custom f/w cuz it wants me to go to 3.1.3 du fu$& and im like FU48478!!!!! What do I do? Ive tried pwanage and redsnow. Tried black rain. Cant ssh, Idk ITS BROKEN????? Shetty deal man I wanna break this thing!!! lol
