Brian Greenstone of Pangea Software talks about Enigmo 2, the sequel to the award winning and best-selling iPhonegame Enigmo. Brian talks about the challenges behind making the game, some tricks to playing the game, and why Pangea waited so long to release it. The game can be found on iTunes at : itunes.apple.com
Hm. That’s odd. I can listen to music while I play engimo. I was saying I could rip a mp3 of the music that plays while you play, then copy that to your itouch/iphone and then play it in the ipod option on it and pick the loop song option, then play engimo with the song looping in the ipod app.
No, actually Enigmo 1 still doesn’t have music in it. We’ve increased the performance enough that we probably could do it, but the main problem is figuring out the royalty situation for the musician. Long story short is that it would make the spreadsheet somewhat complicated to figure out.
Enigmo 1 supports music while playing. It was hidden in a update for it. Just download the mp3 of the song from somewhere, then put it on your iphone/itouch, and then put it on loop, then launch enigmo. You will have the song that plays during the levels plus the sound too. But no finish level music.
this game is awesome and it runs super smooth on my ipod touch 3g im on lvl 11 and at first 3d controlls a bit hard but after 1 lvl of em its amazing its so fun aligning *gud spallar* it its like an optical illusion and for 4 bucks its worth it. btw it runs super smooth no lag at all with planets on on the touch 3g
OK, if you resolved those memory issues with the music now,
why don’t you put music back into Enigmo 1 please?
I need music so much…can’t play without!
As a fan of Enigmo 1 on the iPhone, I appreciate your candor about the technical challenges you faced in porting Enigmo 2 to the iPhone, as well as why you waited so long to release it. I’m going to spend a lot of time with this game. Thanks!

Right, you could just fake it by using the MP3′s from the Mac version of the game, but Enigmo 1 itself still doesn’t have the music feature.

I sent him one a while back too. I think he’s a little too obsessed with the iPhone and needs to get back to the mac.
