When I looked this over on the site, and even looked at the box, it seemed as if the slipcover had a face that you could use to protect the front of your Ipod Touch when it wasn’t in use. However, like a glove with no palm, it gives the appearance of protection without the reality.

It wraps around the back of the Ipod without putting anything in front of the part that actually needs protecting, the screen.

I tried putting it on backwards, but then you can’t listen to it.

I purchased this because I was hoping to have something that would protect against scratching the screen, but I got a nice little Isock. Ah well. It looks pretty when I put it upside down on the table, I guess.

I’ll be looking and trying out wallet-types of protection instead soon. If you do go with this, make certain you pick up a transparent overlay (probably should anyway, really!).

I paid over $20 for this flimsy sleeve. It doesn’t even protect the glass screen as I’d thought. It’s only worth $10, if that.

As there isn’t any protection for the actual screen, make certain you at least have a screen overlay. I will be getting a wallet-type sometime soon.

But at least the back of my Ipod is protected from fearful scratches…

Decent case for the price although the Apple store offers cases with a touch-screen protector which I would rather have.

This case looks very cool and has a great feel to it BUT the case slips off way too easily. I have an older silicone sleeve from Belkin as well and I think that one was a better performer. Why? It’s all in the top and bottom “stretcher” pieces. If you look at the front view, the sleeves that stay on best have silicone pieces that cover/stretch across the top and bottom. Given, not having these parts looks cooler but the case slides off too easily. The sleeve you see pictured here is the exact sleeve I have and the sides do not stretch around to grip either side of the screen (on the long sides) therefore the cover does not cover the front and protect it from scratches and it comes off. Maybe it is just the mold my was individual one was made from, who knows.
