Question by Hola Lola!: The iPhone– does a 14 year old require one particular?
Personally I feel the iPhone is just another invention designed by Apple to suck men and women out of every single penny they’re worth. There are plenty of other phones that will accomplish related functions. My dad being very generous decided my 14 year old sister really should “upgrade” her mobile phone (she had a razor) and she insisted that she Needed the iPhone
in your opinion do you think a 14 year old kid need to get an iphone?
(and this isn’t the form of kid who gets straight A’s, does community service— she takes advantage of everybody, especially my dad’s generosity even following receiving nearly $ 700 really worth of purses and clothes– and I’m quite positive she wouldn’t even know how to use it)

NO !!! Your sister definately does not need the iPhone. She doesn’t even deserve it if she is selfish. What does she need it for exactly? Ask your dad. Do you know that your dad has to pay a two year contract with plans $ 59.99+. Your sister just probably wants to show it off. She does not deserve to get the iPhone because she’s not worth it.

NO one really needs an iPhone. It makes things more convienent. Unfortunately that also means that content that 14 year olds shouldn’t be viewing is also easier to access since you can get on YouTube. Personally if I had a 14 year old and he or she wanted an iPhone, I’d say, save up your own money.

I am 21 and don’t need or want one. All I do with my phone is call people and text them to make plans and arrangements. Anything more is just keeping up to be cool instead of want or need.
Don’t want to sound mean, but you sound jealous of her because she gets more stuff than you without working for it. Maybe it’s time you talked to your dad.

I don’t think a 14 year old needs a cell phone in the first place! They can’t drive… and I’m pretty sure most places still have pay phones…

hey I’m 14 and YES I have the iPhone .
To the people who say 14 year olds out there don’t need cells well this is what I have to say to that think of all the crazy people out there trying to kidnap kids!
I got my 1st cell at the age of 13 and that was because of sports and the crazy people that live around me.
My parents are not rich,I’m. Not a brat.
Oh to answer your question I think that age doesn’t matter on
a thing like this.
