Ok, so I have an Apple iPhone 4 But it does a SIM card. If I switch it on, I get the message “No SIM card installed>> Put a SIM card without a PIN lock to activate iPhone.” So I borrowed my son’s SIM card and put it into my iPhone and I get the message “SIM error>> without inserting a valid SIM PIN lock feature for iPhone.” So now Im completely baffled. Is there a way to unlock and activate this phone without an account with a wireless carrier to get? I do not want to make calls or anything, I want to only be able to use it as an iPod, and applications for the moment. PLEASE HELP! … Thanx:) Best Answer:

only bring them back to the provider that you mention it, and it will include a SIM card to install it for you. Usually when you have a plan, then its free, or somewhere under $ 10. hope this helps.

Where did you get the phone? It sounds like the phone itself was blocked. If it then its as good as useless ♥
