try turning your phone off with it disconnected from itunes.
then hold the home button for a few seconds and connect the wire to itunes while still holding the home button.

hi i have a 3gs i try that all was good, except when it was all done , it show just all the process in tell the pineapple suppose to be show, it got a withe dot it stays like that in tell it got the apple so i do like u said, i did the just booth option..after the all precess, it show just the pineapple and stays like that for 20 min and it goes go back to the apple sign….what i did wrong?

I tried saving the files but half way through my download, it says “unable to save the source file ” or something like that. Can you help me out please! My phone is still in recovery mode and I’m trying to get out of recovery. I can’t restore or do anything to it until I’m out of the recovery mode.

try using firefox to download (if you use ie it renames as .zip, dont extract this just rename .zip to .ipsw)
