Wow…you really have to go in through the back to replace the front panel? What a huge PITA! I have a couple of students with shattered iPhone 4s. I’m thinking about buying them, repairing them, and selling on Craigslist. I was hoping replacing the screen would be as easy as replacing the screen on a 3G….oh well.

@alanclabby1 On the iPhone 4 You can not just repair the Touch Panel and You can not repair just the LCD. You have to replace the complete screen as one unit. @wallstreetyoung Some of the screws are different. Keep track of the screws when you take the unit apart.
