@Pathfinder37able The only way I ever got WiFi sync to work is when I had iTunes running.

@wwwinsanelygreatmac Doesn’t iTunes show if it is syncing or not over wifi? Doesn’t it show on your iOS device?

@wwwinsanelygreatmac apple advisors have said that iTunes does not have to be on. Are you saying that you have been told or have other other information? Consistency would be nice.

I tried Siri at the Sprint store the other day n it kept saying no connection, I guess it was a whole system thing o.o

My upgraded from my MacPro To top range 27″ iMac (Channel vid) with dual screen which is Alot nicer to use, That is one reason why the mac pro might die.

I had the iPhone 4 with Vlingo. Last night got the iPhone 4S and Siri blows Vlingo away completely. I ask Siri to type emails, texts, set reminders/alarms and she does it immediately. She’s like my “Virtual Maid” LOL.

@Sumfera Syncing over WiFi to me kind of pointless. I still need to turn the computer on and have iTunes running, likely needing to initiate the sync. I would rather just plug it in rather than wondering if it’s working.

Regarding iCloud photo sync, why not sync over wifi? You won’t need to pay for the 20GB upgrade.

This really worked for me: When you leave your iPhone overnight, set it to “airplane” mode. It’s healthy (it doesn’t give out radiation) and saves a TON of battery.
