@makdrumz you realize its nots the ram, its the processor that deals with that. The PS3 only has 256 mb of ram that developers can use and the 360 only has 512. Yet those platforms can make far supperior games. Reason: their processor is much better and can handle the load of having a free roam environment and what not.

@hogler249 it is obviously because of the iphone’s limited ram. In the unreal engine demo they released back then it was a very small space ( castle + barracks ) where you could walk around. BUT remember the lack of characters or any other dynamic element? You cannot produce such graphics + textures + framerate + free roaming with just 512 mb of ram. Chair made the game in a way that while you see a cutscene the rest of the world loads up while releasing ram from the previous scene.
