i jailbroke my 3g with blackra1n and it worked fine. easiest jailbreak ever. i highly remommend it. dont need any experience in jailbreaking if you are a first timer. Update to 3.2.1. its sound was like firmware 2.2.1 when it came out.

@ MacBookPro1995 magnets do not play nice with the hard drive and only with the components in general. Magnets mess with old CRT displays, but I do not think they do anything to panels on LCD.
