Most of the video posts like this seems to be missing a bigger picture. I understand the basic voice technology is there. I believe I used that technology on a Mac OS 8 box I had when I was About 16. The technology being used in Siri uses more conversational speech and isn’t just asking the phones to do basic tasks.

Lastly, the processor might need to be bigger for a better experience. Apple doesn’t want things to be choppy like on android.

If they allow iPhone 4 users to get Siri nobody would buy the iPhone 4S. Why would they do that? It’s one of the biggest selling points of the 4S. They are in the business of selling phones and making money, remember that.

@Ulikazu Siri was an application that was available on all iOS devices before Apple bought them out. If you would like to try out an outdated version of it, search “Voice Action” in the app store. Siri is no longer a third party app, it’s now been integrated in iOS since Apple bought them. If you want proof that Siri won’t be on older devices simply call Apple and they will tell you.

I would like to see a piece of document that says the Official Siri app, has been released for all iDevices.

What you are stating about apple is absoutely nonsense. You are talking about a third party app. What Jailbreakers who are working very hard, is trying to port it out to other devices other than the iPhone 4S as an integrated feature. Please man, know your shit and get it all together before you make a video…
