Update: AT&T GoPhone Prepaid Plan on iPhone/Carrier Logo on 3.1 Firmware

Just a little update video: I am back on AT&T’s Prepaid GoPhone plan and it works great! Also, if you have noticed, there is no carrier logo on the 3.1 firmware. My video size and quality sucks after doing the upgrade for my 3gs. Fucking idiots!!!!! What the hell happened???? My phone was fine before the upgrade. FIX THE SOFTWARE!!!!! AT&T you SUCK!!!!!

@HendyZero2… Strange experience you’ve had moving a GoPhone SIM from one phone to another. I’ve had mine in three different phones (no, I’m not bragging – lol) and it has worked just fine. Is this an iPhone-specific phenomenon? I’d hate to go through the process of porting my number.

Actually Guys, TMOBILE has a better plan now. WIth Their new EVEN MORE PLUS PLAN. YOU can get the sim with a plan on their site, just go check it out. Make SUre your Iphone is unlocked first.

Look Guys when you do this REMEMBER to NEVER put the SIM in the Gophone. You have to put the sim in the Iphone after YOU ACTIVATE the SIM. You dont need the sim inside the phone while you activate it. So just go activate with the GOPHONE IMEI But never put sim in that phone because the SIM AUTOMATICALLY LOCKS TO THE FIRST PHONE YOU PUT IT IN.

Hi, if i buy a prepaid at&t phone and activate the sim card and put it on my iphone can i use the internet? like does at&t have prepaid internet packs? cus i have tmobile on my iphone right now and the sidekick data plan dont work nomore so the only way i can use internet is by wifi

you cant send a picture text with a iphone 3g you have to get a program from te app store think its like 5.99 for unlimited picture texting, only way to send pics, or threw email, only thing i hate about my iphone, but still the best phone out there, and my att iphone, works on trac phone simms as well

i bought mine off a craigslist seller then went to the at&t store and bought a cheap phone and signed up for the pick your plan prepaid option took the sim card out of the phone put it in iphone….very simple.

Okay… I’ve tried activating my sim and I’ve found no luck online… But I will try and unlock it by phone and tell them that I don’t have a phone to use it with… Just a sim…(is this possible) and should I use my iPhone IMEI number if they ask for it? I’m stuck
