Buy at your own risk! It killed my $600 iPhone w/ one plug in. It’s not a bargain. The phone went off upon plugging it in, and never showed the normal charging icon. The phone was strangely warm after that and I had to do a “hard start” to get it on at all. It stayed w/ me for a couple more hours, then went off, never to restart. I think it burned up from the inside.

Got my charger & cord in a timely fashion. I used it last night to charge my iPhone 3GS with no problems. This morning I have been listening to music via the dock with the new charger attached with no problems at all; 100% charged right now. I’m actually ordering a 2nd one to keep in my work bag as a sprare.

Works just fine for me. I use it every night to charge up my iPhone for the following day. Looks OEM as best I can tell.

I was looking for a charger for my Iphone 2G and came upon this and thought I had found an inexpensive charger. I ordered it through Amazon but from a private seller. It arrived on time, but when I put it to use, oh my God! it was clear that there was something terribly wrong with the charger. My Iphone was beeping and showing signs of charging and going off at the same time. When I picked it up to check what the problem was, it was so hot that I thought it was going to burn up. I unplugged it and tried it again the very next day and got the same result. I even tried different sockets around the house to no avail. Whereupon I notified the sellers who offered to replace it with another one but I just wanted out of the deal. I have since learnt my lesson and which is – pay attention to negative reviews, they are always right 60% of the times.
