Jailbreak and Unlock iphone 2G using redsn0w

In this video I’ll show you how to Jailbreak and Unlock your iphone 2G (3.0/3.0.1) using redsn0w You can downgrade from 3.1.2 back to 3.0/3.0.1 (iphone 2G only!) If you have iphone 3G/3GS 3.1.2 blacksn0w is here! Just go to blackra1n.com and click your OS. blackra1n will jailbreak, but you will need to go into blackra1n on your iphone to unlock. Step 1: Download all of the required files using the links below (make sure it’s 2G firmwares!)to a folder on your desktop. (if you are restoring to 3.0.1 you must download 3.0 + 3.0.1 firmware) Step 2: Extract the Redsn0w file and the Bootloader Files Step 3: Go to your device in itunes and hold “shift” + “restore” and locate your 3.0 or 3.0.1 firmware. Wait for it to finsish restoring Step 4: Run redsn0w Step 5: Locate the 3.0 firmware even if you restored it to 3.0.1 then hit next Step 6: Check the “Cydia” and “Unlock” box Step 7: Locate the 3.9 and 4.6 Bootloaders you downloaded Step 8: Plug in your iphone if it’s not already and Turn your iphone OFF Step 9: Make sure your iphone is plugged in and Turned OFF Step 10: Follow the directions Step 11: Wait for it to Jailbreak and Unlock BE PATIENT! try putting it into DFU mode. search it up on youtube or google. then try the steps. i had to do that with mine

the folder doesnt come up when i click restore, and it tells me its in safe mode.. but if i do it not in safe mood it says that i cant use that sim with the phone and it just doesnt work…

well blackra1n is a newer version to jailbreak. so u should just stay on blackra1n

yea just be on the 3.0 firmware for ipod touch, and dont check the unlock box

hey errr can yu do this with ipod touch 2g? i had a jailbroken device but it is now unjailbroken and blackra1n wont work help ?????

im trying to get mms on the iphone but when i search activatemms2g it wont show up on cydia for me to install it what should i do?

well you could use blackra1n and jailbreak, then use blacksn0w and unlock it. once uve jailbroken it go into blackra1n and install blacksn0w. u can search for tutorials here on YT

Well then u wanna turn it off and put it in DFU mode then plug it in. Search it on yt or google
