Thanks, this helped me… I needed to get to the home button … I didn’t unsolder the speaker … when I went to put things back together with a new home button assembly, I ripped the speaker cable!
Amazingly, I reversed your solder step and used my old speaker with the new home button assembly… I did a crappy solder job but speaker works perfectly (Home button still busted though)
