I have an 2g iphone purchased it when it very first came out in America. I restored to its factory settings, what would its firmware be?

2.2.1 if you updated through itunes.

Probably will be 2.2.1 but to check go on the device and go to settings. Then go to general and about. Under there it will list the firmware version.
