in case you haven’t already figured it out, just open the .m4r file where it is, the ringtones folder doesnt matter.

hi, disregard that last comment.
after going back and experimenting with the .m4r’s i discovered that the ringtones folder isnt necessary, just go aheead and double click the .m4r file and it should work. the folder that it’s in doesnt matter. sorry for the confusion

@mhstevenson not sure if it’ll work, but just try opening the .m4r file inside the folder it was originally in. before you’d move it to the ringtones folder.

i got to changing its file name to m4r but then i dont have a ringtones folder to copy it into. so i made one and still fail…

it can be up to 40 seconds long, and the extension has to be renamed to “.m4r” , not “.mpr”

You can do this in 2 mins with itunes, make an ACC copy 30 seconds long,when done rename it .MPR, and del the song u just made, then it will be fond by itues as a rirngtone, EASY as, this way take bloody ages

nope, bro you can get info streight away then you go options and choose starting time and stopping time that is 30 seconds then once you do that you click AAC version and then you go into itunes directory THEN copy paste it, lol you did it the long way man, you dont have to use songs you purchased you can use download songs too.
