Hey youtube this video will show you how to use Sn0wbreeze to jailbreak your iphone 2g, iphone 3g, iphone 3gs and 1st and 2nd Gen ipodtouch. This is not an untethered jailbreak, this will not work for the MC models, and please read everything below for more information on the different modes. For it to work on 3.1.3 on select devices you need Dot Net Framework 3.5 Download link: download.microsoft.com Windows XP and up. 1) Download sn0wbreeze here: dl.dropbox.com 2) Download the correct 3.1.2 firmware for your device: www.felixbruns.de 3) Click the arrow and then choose either simple mode or expert mode. Expert Mode is my preferred choice. 4) Once you have selected the mode you want it will ask you to select your firmware 5) Once the firmware is confirmed you will want to select General. The general option will allow you to change the root partition size and add the sn0wbreeze app 6) It will then ask you to choose Cydia or Rock, or both. Once you have selected which installers you want it will then ask you to select your apps you want to be included in the firmware 7) Then next screen will give you the option to change your boot logo and your recovery logo. You can get those from www.modmyi.com (sign up takes less than 2 minutes) After you have chosen your boot logo and recovery logo, click the arrow and then select build custom ipsw 9) Click start when you are ready (this will vary in time) 10) Once the firmware has been built, plug your device in and open up itunes …

im on an ipod touch 2nd gen (non mc). i’m already jailbroken with blackra1n. i have both cydia and rock and all the cydia apps and sources installed. Can i use this to get custon boot and recovery logos and resize the partition without losing everything or do i have to restore first then jailbreak with snowbreeze?

i did all this but every time i try to restore it and error comes up(1604)
looked it up and it says it has to do with the usb, however when i synced it normally(without selecting snowbreeze) it worked fine….if you could help id be greatly appreciated

Yea i downgraded my ipod with snowbreeze firmware and it said could not restore invaid ipsw file or something and it kind of pissed me off
