when i did shift restore it didnt have a folder that popped up it just said (restore) or (cancel) and then i clicked restore and it told me it would erase all my purchased stuff….

hey i have an ipod 1.1.5 the one without the volume bars and i updated to a 2.2.1 2day and now i want 2 update 2 3.1.2 but when i hold down the shift button and select the firmware it give me a message saying that the firmware is not compatible do u no what i shud do for this ?

hacked , you can hack it so you can download full apps from Installous . you should wait until your iPod warranty is up though , since it is illegal . they will refuse to fix it .

I think you can help me!! The thing is… I got an unlocked Iphone 1G a long time ago.. and now its really slow.. the wifi very poor, the new applications in AppStore are not compatible and well.. its old, so i would like to upgrade to 3.0 but then.. it would be locked again. I have no idea of how to do this, and if I should get the new version of Itunes… because I think then it will be locked too..What should I do? Help!
