I ordered this product because my friend has the red one and I loved it. However, when I received mine it wasn’t the same soft leather that she had received. Mine is clearly vinyl. I’m confused, because the description says soft leather, so why did I receive a different material case? Also, my cut out at the top, for hearing the calls is cut off crooked. It is cut at a slight diagonal. I was really looking forward to receiving this product but I did not receive it as it is advertised.
If you order this, I hope you receive the good quality one. Because that case is wonderful.

Overall, this case does the job. I really like the blue color and it offers good protection. It has a hole for the camera, a cutout for the ear hole, a cutout for the dock connector, 2 tiny holes for each of the speakers, and since it opens like a book, the volume rocker and silencer are exposed when it is open. So, technically there is no need to ever take the phone out of this case. The leather on the front and back is slightly padded and the cover is magnetic to keep it shut (although the magnet isn’t very strong). The only complaint I have about this case is that when the case is open, the strips of leather on the side (particularly the right side) make it difficult to tap anything close to the side. For example, when the phone is rotated and I am texting in landscape mode, it is slightly in the way of tapping the space bar. You can tell this product is cheaply made, but for the price, you can expect anything more. Overall, I am satisfied.
