I think its for 32 bit windows vista only. i tried jailbreaking my ipod touch 2g 2.2.1 on vista home premium 32 bit with quickfreedom accidentally without doing the compatability mode and my laptop can no longer find the operating system. Thanks for the advice Curtguven (:

I did that on my vista ultimate 64 and it still broke it. what it actually did was not load all my drivers at the start so i couldnt use anything. to fix that, at the start bfore my computer loaded windows, i hit f8 for boot options and chose the 1 that said load windows with digitally unsigned drivers and that made everything work for me again. hope this helps anyone having that problem.

it should be a “.ipsw” file…maybe the icon appears as a .zip file icon but as long as it has ipsw at the end of it then you’re good

If u guys r wondering what it breaks it makes it so the mouse and key board not work and u must reinstall vista and all ur programs it happend to me.

I have Vista on a Core2Quad and 8GB of ram on a nForce 790i motherboard.
Not bad specs IMO
And Vista runs perfectly fine on it.
And I’m writing this from within Windows 7 (BETA! And it’s a stable beta)
OSx86, Linux, and all windows versions run fine, 64 or 32 bit.
Fucktards just cant stop bashing.
But LibUSB will kill all USB ports on your system if you dont compatibility mode it
Found out the hard way.
