This is a new firmware that just came out right now! (Properly, depends on the date that you watch this …) This is my first video evaluation, and I thought I would show every person a few new factors they added to this firmware! A new function I saw really quickly is that there is much far more of a contrasting color on the Dock icon, and also has a dock rather a reflection of it. You see the differences in this firmware … Also, if you verify your settings, you’ll see a couple of new tabs. As the photos on the tab that is on the iPad. And the Sounds tab, which is just there to make it less difficult to uncover, I would say. There is also a new passcode lock characteristic. Now you can pass your code letters, numbers and symbolic functions! This protects your iPod or iPhone better, so men and women do not steal or unlock. @IncrediblyGenius you know when u r in a plane and they told u to turn off your phones and al.. when u put ur ipod in airplane mode u dont need to turn it off, it blocks the wifi connection to be able to not interfere with the plane signals

@IncrediblyGenius airplane mode, lets you play games without sending notifications, (meaning not using wi-fi or trying to find a wi-fi system) this is due to messing with the airplanes navigation system.

Try it on another computer. The shift key and click always works. Maybe there is something wrong on your pc. Best of luck.

Yes this will work but you have to search on google for the correct firmware that goes with your device. If you do not use the right firmware this will not work. Best of luck.

does this work with an itouch 2nd gen? i tried doing exactly what is said in this video and nothing seemed to happen after i got to the part where it asks if you want to restore your backup files to the itouch and i clicked yes..is this why it is not working? I did not recieve the error message nor anything else after i clicked ‘restore backup files’

Bro this vid helped out a lot. I had recently upgraded my iPhone 3GS to firmware 3.1 beta and my phone was all messed up. I used the same process you used to downgrade and it worked.

No it does not downgrade the baseband. Only the firmware is downgraded.

You can use the latest itunes to do this. This will work to downgrade from 2.2 to 2.1. If you follow the instructions you will be able to do it without any problems.
