i have the “connect to itunes” screen and am stuck, people are telling me to “just restore it” but i keep getting error: 3014, i have googled it so many times, and got nothing, i AM using itunes 4, as the previous firmware was TOO NEW for a previous version of itunes, in which THIS methord has worked, i need help quick, as this ipod is sorta a xmas pressent!!!

It will only work if u have a older version of itunes try to download a older version and it will work

@viewer200pig If you have updated your iPhone to iOS 4.1 and not preserved your baseband previously you will not be able to unlock using this tool. If you have updated your firmware to iOS 4.1 you will have updated your baseband to 05.14.02 (iPhone 3GS/3G) or 02.10.04 (iPhone 4) which currently are not able to be unlocked (this is being worked on, and and unlock may be available within a few months). You cannot downgrade your baseband

then it says tht my phone is not eligible to be restored….
