The title says it all, but to change the iPhone system sounds just follow the measures on the video… right here are some issues that you might not have understood me on and what you need to do… YOUR IPHONE Demands TO BE JAILBROKEN AND ON 2.two FIRMWARE FOR THIS TO Operate!!! You need to download WinSCP on your laptop or computer… Host name: (your IP address identified in your wireless settings) Login: Root Password: Alpine your directory you go via is “root/program/library/audio/UISounds” If you will need any far more assistance really feel free of charge to message me or leave me a comment… Also if this was valuable you can usually rate my videos and comment
sorry it took so long… it might be because the file was in use? not sure… try closing all other applications after your done with them (even itunes) and just try and keep open what you need immidently during that time
say man when i tried to rename it in the uisounds folder to unlock.caf i got an error message that said i couldnt rename it if u know why i would appreciate it
i know what u mean but u see how on your computer it says pacman.aiff mine just says pacman on the icon it shows that its aiff and in properties but how do i change it to .caf if it it doesn’t show in the name part
since i cant see exactly what your doing… i’ll have to guess your looking for the .aif file on the desktop… as long as you followed the previous steps and converted it in iTunes than your fine and it will be in .aif format… the best place to change it is when you’ve already placed the new file inside the folder you need it in and than change it to the “lock.caf” or whatever file you want to change, hopefully this helps.. and right click on the file and go to properties to see the file type
when i convert it and stuff my music never shows the.aif or w/e it jus has the name of the song or w/e so how can i change it to .caf if i caant even erase the .aif part and type .caf in
nevermind, was getting the wrong Ip address. The easiest way I found to get the right ip address was going to wifi under settings on your iphone. clicking on the blue arrow next to the wifi you’re connected to, and it should say it right there.
Your exactly right actually… All I did was reverse the sound using the audacity program I have talked about in my videos… Basically I turn the sound around backwards… Hope this helps
was wondering on another video you have. you have the transformers sound but its slightly different than the ones i find on the internet was wondering where you got it or if you made it sounds more like they are transforming into their vehicles rather than going to giant robots if you know what i mean, basically it fits the lock rather than the unlock. Thanks
hmm, i have no idea what could be the problem, and just now i tried to put applications on, and did it exactly how the guy sed, with the permissions set right and still they dont show up….
sorry it took so long for me to get back to you… to get them in .caf files (after you have converted them to .aiff in iTunes) all you need to do is put them in the correct folder and change it so it says something like “unlock.caf” or “lock.caf” etc, etc… also your video response diddn’t have any sound? so hopefully I answered everything you were asking about
oh oh oh, just remembered a problem I had a bit ago with sounds, if you changed them to a .caf BEFORE you put them in the folder, they will be something like .aif.caf … just remove the .aif part so it looks like “unlock.caf”
Thanks man, i edited the ps3 theme to make it a white ps3, to match my real one (oh yeh) and needed this tutorial for the finishing touches thanks a million.
