I heard that there was an ipod application that you could buy where you could have your documents from your computer put onto your ipod video. What is the name of this application? I need this for school.

You don’t require an application.
Just follow these steps:
1. Plug in your iPod.
2. Click on your iPod’s little menu in iTunes.
3. Look for a small check box that says, “Enable disk use” or something to the effect of that.
4. Click and apply.
This should work. Test it at home.
If you have a Macintosh formatted iPod, it will only act like a USB Drive on Macs.
If you have a Windows formatted iPod, you should be fine.

I don’t know about any special application, but you could always use the notes feature for simple text files. Try this website: http://ebookhood.com/ipod-ebook-creator
It lets you upload a text file, and then it splits the file into the requirement maximum size for ipods. Then you just put the files into the notes folder of your ipod, and you can read through your text files like you’re reading an ebook.
But if you just need a portable decive to transport your school files around, just get a USB drive.
