Question by Jeremy : How do I change my iPod Touch applications via iTunes
I recently downloaded iTunes 9 and I heard that if you go under the tab “Applications” on your iPod, you can rearrange and add or remove applications from all of iTunes. I saw what it is supposed to look like – with a box on the right with the iTouch screen with all the applications on it. But that does not show up in my iTunes, all it shows is a box on the left where you can check or uncheck the applications you want. How can I do so I can rearrange the applications from iTunes? Yeah, see that’s what I thought. So I tried to update my iPod does come with an error message that says: “There was a problem, a problem downloading the iPod software. An unknown error occurred ( 1479). Does anyone know how to fix this? The firewall thing did not work: / Best answer:

you need to update your iPod software 3.1.1, before it works and if you do not already have the software 3.0 you pay for Theis 2.xcomme upgrade to the software download error ING check your firewall! it sounds like you have a problem with the firewall blocks port thats the iTunes Store utilise.il need the following free ports: -52,53,4555,5291,6356,6385 and if you use shared libraries : – 3689 & 5353s’il is a problem of port firewall .. see http://support.apple.com/kb/TA24260?viewlocale=en_US
