So I did that and it screwed up my iPod (stuck in the Apple logo) for a barrel, is there a way I can avoid this? As .. Whether or not something should be uploaded with my version of IOS & or is not made for iPod Touch 4G?

The lines on your iPod in your video are due to light LCD in your iPod. These lines are still there, but remain invisible to the naked eye. However, your camera can pick them up. The same happens when the cameras new video computer screens on tape. You can still see the lines and flicker. Your iPod is perfectly fine. No worries, and thank you for the video.
